Stevens Library Media Center
houses both print and multimedia materials. Print sources include books,
magazines, and reference materials. Multimedia sources include audio and
video cassettes, maps, globes, CD-ROMs and DVDs. We also can request
materials from other schools in our district.
The collection is designed to support the grade level
curriculum and provide age appropriate literature for recreational reading.
The library collection is cataloged in a computerized
database, referred to as OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog). We search the
OPAC through our district servers on school computers, and you can search
the Stevens Library Media Center collection from home! It is
accessible on the Internet through the OPAC link in the navigation bar on
the bottom of this page.
You are invited to direct your
questions, comments or suggestions about our collection to
Ms. Cuyler.
