a peer mediator group started in O'Rourke Middle School. The peer
mediator group will be aimed at helping students that are in crisis.

Books
for the first grade B.A.G.S. program. This is a traveling library for
first graders, developed by the first grade teachers in 1989. B.A.G.S.
stands for "Bring Along Good Stories".

O'Rourke Middle School Library submitted by Marge Rizzo,
A
series of CD's, covering a variety of composers, historical periods,
and styles. Students in general music classes in grade 7 participate
in a music/library lesson in which the student researches the composer
and historical period and listens to the music written by the
composer. Listening activities will also be structured for the 6th
grade general music students, and individual listening activities will
be available for orchestra members."
