Stay and hunt

Some animals stay and find food in the winter.  The red fox can hear and catch mice moving under the snow!  Beavers store food in the fall to eat in the winter.  Some animals grow new, thicker fur to help them stay warm.  Deer, rabbits and some birds stay active in winter.
